Southern Adventure

New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, Dragons Tail

Tour Highlights

Our SOUTHERN ADVENTURE Guided Motorcycle Tour offers a rider the chance to see the Deep South in an all new light. We have great food, great music and great roads all rolled into one exciting 8 Day and 7 Night Bucket List Motorcycle Excursion.

We launch this adventure in New Orleans, a town known for music and food. Our riding routes will provide us with a beautiful contrast in scenery. We will ride through wetlands in the bayou and live oaks in other areas that look like they are thousands of years old as we ride by century old Antebellum Era homes.

As we make our north, we’ll pick up the Natchez Trace. The Trace will provide us with a scenic ride along one of the most peaceful roads you’ll ever ride on. Tree lined roads will provide you with a cool breeze no matter the time of year you are traveling on the Trace.

We make our way into Memphis and enjoy some Blues and BBQ on Beale Street. BB King made the area famous and don’t be surprised if you find yourself tapping your foot in rhythm at the dinner table. Beale Street is a great area to relax at the end of a good riding day.

On our way to Nashville, we stop at the King’s. Elvis Presley’s Graceland sits just outside of Memphis and we take a few minutes to walk the grounds and see the Jungle Room.

We roll into Nashville and pay a visit to “The Gulch” The Gulch has some of the best music venues and restaurants in the United States. Bring your cowboy boots for this night! You never know who you will see downtown and you want to make sure you fit in!

We take the scenic route out of Nashville and make our way to the Loveless Café. The Loveless Café is a Southern Tradition. You’ll see why when we take a seat at the lunch table. There just might be a little room in your saddlebag for a roll or two as we hit the road again. As we roll down the back roads of Tennessee we make our way to a little distillery in Lynchburg. The Jack Daniels Whiskey Distillery is always a nice place to stretch our legs and sample some of Jack’s Finest!

The highlight of the Southern Adventure Guided Motorcycle Tour is the “Tail of the Dragon”. We’ll venture out to the “Tail of the Dragon” via the Cherohala Skyway and experience the challenge it has to offer as well. After lunch at the Fontana Dam Lodge and a rest break (trust me you’ll need it!!!) we take on the Dragon! The “Tail of The Dragon” has been voted in the Top 3 of all motorcycle roads in the United States since people began riding motorcycles. You will experience 318 curves in 11 miles. This road is voted “Most Challenging” EVERY YEAR by tour participants. But it is also the one road EVERYBODY wants to ride again!

Our final morning of riding takes us thru Asheville and (if time/weather permits) we take in the “Biltmore Estate”. “The Biltmore” is the largest residential property in the United States.

We close the SOUTHERN ADVENTURE Guided Motorcycle with a hosted Farewell Party where we can share a few laughs and great memories before departing for home.
