Tour Highlights

Our BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY/SMOKEY MOUNTAINS/TAIL OF THE DRAGON Guided Motorcycle Tour offers a rider the chance to see the beautiful scenery of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Smokey Mountains all rolled into one exciting 8 Day and 7 Night Bucket List Motorcycle Excursion.

The scenery from Charlotte, North Carolina to Eastern Tennessee is filled with twisty roads, mountain tunnels, mountain streams, switchbacks and amazing views of the mountains from roads cut out along the very top crest of the highest peaks. It’s as if the people that designed the roads and the path many years ago had motorcycle enthusiast in mind.

Rolling out of Charlotte we ride into Little Switzerland, a picturesque town hugging the mountains. You will experience the roads, tunnels and bridges that have been voted “Most Exhilarating” by many of our guided motorcycle participants year after year.

As we pick up the Guided Motorcycle Tour and head east we pick up the Blue Ridge Parkway and experience the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Check the photo out of the Linn Cove Viaduct in our Scenic Gallery. We will literally be riding on the side of the mountain above the clouds. Priceless!

A day on the Blue Ridge Parkway is never over until you see the sunset over the mountain range. The sunsets here ALWAYS get voted as “Most Beautiful Sunset”, without a close second anywhere, by our guided motorcycle tour participants every year!

We’ll wake up ready for a new adventure and take our Guided Motorcycle Tour a little farther east on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The views from Clingmans Dome are breathtaking as the sun drops over the mountain range. If we are lucky it will be a clear night and we will be able to see the Milky Way as it lights up the sky overhead as we wrap up the day of riding.

After several days on the Parkway we will take the Guided Motorcycle Tour into the Smokey Mountains. The Smokey Mountains are know for amazing riding and we will find hidden gems along the way like the Cable Grist Mill and Cades Cove. Bring your camera, you’ll see bears along the way and will definitely want a picture or two.

We’ll venture out to the “Tail of the Dragon” via the Cherohala Skyway and experience the challenge it has to offer as well. After lunch at the Fontana Dam Lodge and a rest break (trust me you’ll need it!!!) we take on the Dragon! The “Tail of The Dragon” has been voted in the Top 3 of all motorcycle roads in the United States since people began riding motorcycles. You will experience 318 curves in 11 miles. This road is voted “Most Challenging” EVERY YEAR by tour participants. But it is also the one road EVERYBODY wants to ride again!

Our final morning of riding takes us thru Asheville and (if time/weather permits) we take in the “Biltmore Estate”. “The Biltmore” is the largest residential property in the United States.

We close the BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY/SMOKEY MOUNTAINS/TAIL OF THE DRAGON Guided Motorcycle with a hosted Farewell Party where we can share a few laughs and great memories before departing for home.
